This past weekend many of the instructors for the Search Engine Academy meet in Las Vegas for our “Minds In Motion” workshop to preview the new training material for our SEO training seminars and to do some brainstorming on some new classes. Michael Marshall also spent some time reviewing some of the updates to his SEO Tools such as SEOrecon, SEO Scout and SEO Sniper.
But the part that I enjoyed the most was meet and hanging out with the other SEO instructors such as Sue Cooper who came all the way from Australia and Nancy Wigal who has just started teaching her Internet Marketing classes in Washington DC.
One of my strengths in IM has always been video so when that discussion finally came around I pulled out my trusty video recorder and gave an example on how I do shoot and edit my videos.
So tonight as I was editing this video I thought it would be kind of fun to make a video of how I edit a video.

Great information! I see You use Vegas almost the same way I do..
Don’t you just Love it’s ease of use compared to the other ‘clunky’ or expensive products out there?

I tried a few others and hated them all, Vegas is a very simple editor to use and does allot of stuff…
Roy thanks, because of this video i moved to it from movie maker and enjoy it a lot. When you do the make movie I see you have a template youtube, would you be willing to share how you did that and what the settings are? I am not sure what mine do, but sometimes they stretch all the way top to bottom, sometimes there is a black border around the them where they do not fill the area
You take care of the frame by resizing the video with the video editor
As far as the template, I have the resolution set. As far as the YouTube setting I found a video on YouTube from the Video Doctor.
that explained how to do that. I don’t remember the details how however
